What does God hate the most?

- Idolatry

· Praise is what WE do worship is what GOD receives.

Anyone that you are you give worship to, and if they receive it, allow it, they are competing with GOD. Immediately

Example:

If somebody praises you or complement you in adoration, listen with full attention and reflect, so that worship get directed solely to the creator.

An example that turned out bad: Nebuchadnezzar(Daniel 4:32)

It’s ok for people to praise you, but don’t receive it. Don’t accept it, keep passing it on. That is called worship.

You are ascribing your success to the ONE that deserves it. OUR FATHER.

Jesus the ultimate example of worship is that He kept transferring the power/ the adoration/ the praise back to the Father, to the one that directed him. Example: I only do, what I see my father doing/ I am only saying the words that my FATHER taught me.

John 8:38

KEEP TRANSFERING

David became success with the giant because HE expressed these words:

I Samuel 17:45

Your worship is limited of the knowledge of the person, sometimes we worship the things we know well. But we can only GOD in the depth of his glory if we get to know him deeper and he allows circumstances to happen to us, is because we can materials of his fragments of his character, his power for us to use when we worship him.

In the time of our lives: We stop and think about the things God is doing and what we came out from, and we worship him a new song.

You can’t never worship God for something he hasn’t done in your life; but we sing our experiences to what God is doing.

Worship is only reserved for the LORD.

Lord: owner, legitimate owner, the only source

True worship doesn’t have to be generated; true worship is the result of a revelation of everything created.

When we understand that, his praise is continually in our lips.

When we understand where everything comes from, we don’t need the “hype” and not the worship leader. Our creator wants our full attention and focus on him.

Why worship is crucial in our lives?

1) Worship involves surrender of our lives

“I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” Rom 12:1

2) Worship is putting our focus on him

True worship is based on the desire to honor God

3) Worship involves ‘Getting out of the way”

- 1 Peter 5:7 –

“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for us”

4) Worship involves personal sacrifice

- Hebrews 13:15 – Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise – the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.”

5) We must worship in the Face of Pain and Loss

Example of King David when lost a child. 2 Sam 12:20

6) Worship celebrates God

- Psalms 100: 1 -5

How can we learn from David’s Worship Lifestyle?

1) Worship that is total (2 Sam 6:14)

- An David danced before the LORD with all his might. And David was wearing a linen ephod.

“To David, God was the joy of his soul, his immense pleasure and joy.” His everything

2) Worship that draws scorn (2 Samuel 6:20)

- Michal, the daughter of Saul, came out to meet David and said, ‘How the king of Israel honored himself today, uncovering himself today before the eyes of his servants’ female servants, as one of the vulgar fellows shamelessly uncovers himself!”

3) Worship that is God centered ( 2 Samuel 6:21 )

- And David said to Michal, ‘It was before the LORD…”

David’s worship is God – centered.

4) Worship that is always going deeper (2 Samuel 6:22)

“I will make myself yet more contemptible than this, and I will be abased in your eyes. But by the female servants of who you have spoken, by them I shall be held in honor. “

Perfect example of the true Shepherd King Jesus, turn out his royal clothes and gave himself away as pure and transparent to the God Almighty with no reserves. Went deep in adoration and servitude.
